Decant for 15 minutes. Medium to deep ruby color with established legs; aromas of strawberry and hint of pipe tobacco; medium bodied with initial flavors of plum, fig and red currents, transitions to tart cherry with pine nut, then lingering green tea.

Q2 2017 wine club purchase. Enjoyed our first and only bottle tonight, the first glass from cellar temperature, and the second paired with a medium-rare flat iron steak and grilled mushrooms and onions. Vibrant red (pomegranate) and purple profile, slightly different than the tasting room note. Many of the green aromatics seem to have resolved. Medium tannin, medium acid. The picture of balance. Approachable now but may integrate further with 6 mo additional cellar time. "Very good," 88+/100.
