Some Wines at Jack & Joanne's : Spicy, muscular dark fruits, a touch of menthol. A concentrated, broad-shouldered wine with flavors of candied cherry and a pleasingly dry, savory streak throughout. Good, but but tight and seemingly holding quite a bit in reserve.

Great nose! I love this wine! Tastes like Essence of Raspberries. The quintessential one-dimensional wine; pure fruit, big raspberry fruit, short finish, not very complex. Unrecognizable as pinot noir. Yet, hands down the favorite at a get together where the other wines included were 1996 Rochioli West Block (which showed well), 1998 Sine Qua Non Veiled, and 2003 A.P. Vin.
