Surprisingly still fresh. High level of tannins, and although they're pretty smooth and integrated, it's just too much oak overall. Fruit is there, but overpowered. Some spice on the finish.

14.2% abv. On the Pnp, the nose was pretty off-putting, with an aroma that reminded me of puke. Fortunately, this mostly blew off after an hour or so but there really was not much left in the way of aromatics. On the palate, there were some things to like about this, with a focused, silky mouthfeel, pretty good depth and weight, and good balance. The flavor profile, however, was very bland and lacked any fruit characteristics. I wouldn't describe it …

Medium bodied, balanced. Decent length of finish. Nice red fruit element, drying, tea. Not a powerful pinot version but still offers firmness in the structure. Good acidity to keep it fresh tasting.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like game, mineral, and strawberry jam. It tastes like strawberry jam, dust, burnt, burnt, coffee and coffee. The body is medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium +. The wine has high acidity.

Such a beautiful Pinot. Gentle yet firm. Lovely dark fruit glides over the tongue, making the mid palate giddy. Medium finish. Not a powerful pinot, but no weakling either. Well balanced. Drink now.

Deliciously ripe dark cherry and plum flavors; somewhat syrupy, though not in a bad way, with slight hints of mocha. No real tannins left to speak of, so I'm glad we opened it when we did, as I believe it was at its peak.

Enjoyable family friendly wine. Fruit forward and a bit heavy for a Pinot.

Ugh. No fruit, just a horrible, horrible funk with a noticeable amount of fizz. Not sure what's going on here but this was absolutely awful.

Not as good as last time. Little earthy. Tasted like the wine had seen better days.

Not as good as the last bottle. Alcohol is more noticeable, fruit is muted, cola notes are more prominent. Just seems more thin overall, acidity is still there but prior bottles seemed more balanced and elegant.

average for the price --the more I drink this the less I like it -- I am not a fan of Dr. Pepper sweet pinot's .... spoiled on the stinky ones .... like the 24 Tandem 06's I got lucky on ... will pass on this again

A ton of shitty 07 OR Pinots (Patricia Green Cellars, Newburg OR) : nose: slightly funky nose and filled with tones of dark red fruits, red cherries, dark berries and a variety of spice tones taste: pretty medium feel with medium+ acidity and well balanced tones of dark red fruits, red cherries and a lot of spice tones. Very nice attack and finish, but the mid-palate could be fleshed out a bit overall: This also seems like a bit more …

Had this with some copper river salmon off the grill. Nose is muted with hints of dusty raspberry. First impression in the mouth is dark cherries, mocha, with a hint of brightness. The middle is rich and plush. Finish is long with just a tickle of acid at the very end. Loved this bottle. Thankfully still have one left.

Nose of dark cherry and earth. Rich and complex in the mouth, earthy and cherry and spicy, enough acidity to balance the moderate weight, with a long finish. Drink through 2014.

Très belle bouteille. Belle puissance et longueur. Aurait certainement pu bénéficier d'une heure en carafe. Excellent RQP pour ce Pinot.

A Pinot Noir that looks, smells, and tastes like Pinot Noir. Lacks the acidity to be a classic, but sure drinking well now. Great pie cherry nose and taste. Smooth mouthfeel. Nothing under-ripe or over-ripe. long finish. Hard to believe that a Pinot with this elegance is currently discounted to under $20. I probably shouldn't have told you that.

Nice nose of ripe cherries, cranberries, and cherry cola. Cherries on the palate with some some interesting mineral bitterness on the back palate. Had some fizz that went away after 30 minutes. Smooth, pretty short finish and a bit hot. Nose elevates it to mediocre.

Novoino's 4th annual portfolio tasting (Park Hyatt Hotel, Chicago IL) : nose: very perfumed and pretty nose with tones of red fruits, spice tones, bits of earth, berries and a touch of floral tones taste: silky and elegant medium body with medium+ acidity and round tones of red fruits, spice tones, berries and a good amount of floral tones on the back end overall: this was a lovely and elegant pinot. Well balanced with good depth on both the nose …
