Bright pommegranat red with intense aromas of black fruit and hints of sweet spices. Full bodied with a refreshing acidity, revealing notes of blackcurrant, black cherries, cinnamon as well as cedar and toast.

Used for pasta sauce due to plastic cork... but.... I had a taste and while it’s a bit brown sugary in flavour, it would be drinkable - but only for one glass

Wow! Thick yet still fruity. Great pairing with a streak and a mushroom Marsala sauce. Last 2005 left.

Nice balanced new world syrah with loads of dark fruit and cherry with tasteful oak.

Ready to go, pepper & spice with just the right amount of cherry. Decant 30 min and the tannin with let the fruit move forward. Beauty!

Clear Dark ruby in colour with some brick starting to show at edges. Clean nose of plum, dark cherry, and some gamey notes. Dry, smooth tannins, nice acidity, med body, med flavours of plum, black fruits, and spice on palate. Nice length. This wine is drinking very well right now.

Wonderful rich fruit, now becoming well developed, subtle spice notes, with a nice spicey finish. Decanted for 2 hours.

Fabulous Syrah, classic notes and unexpected ripeness in a wine from Canada, stunning really - Black, well concentrated with a nose of plum, cherry, blueberry, pepper, meat and vanilla, very well balanced, excellent complexity and depth, velvety smooth on the palate with excellent length, a winner for sure! (91 Points).

Hugely spicy on the nose. Oaky vanilla notes emerged with time. I found this a bit simple in the mid-palette. It didn't have the weight. As the evening went on, I liked this wine less and less. It was just too oaky. A crowd pleaser with others though.

Inky black in color. Full bodied with a smoky nose. On the palate, the wine hits you with black plum and cherry notes, finishing with classic black pepper.
