Helt grei.

Fully mature, but still going strong. Horsy nose, tobacco, pencil shavings. Dark fruited palate, tobacco, underbrush. Totally satisfying wine and a testimony to the ability of Bordeaux to age.

A lovely dark red, almost brown colour. Smooth tannins and taste of wood and dark fruit. A cheap but nice Bordeaux.

Decent enough Bordeaux, but feels a bit thin. Not much complexity or x-factor. You get what you pay for, I guess.

No decant. To be honest, expectations were not really high on this one: Off Year from a unkown chateau in moulis that does not exist any more. But hell i was wrong and this one was singing and roaring on all cylinders! Of course its an aged wine in brick red. The tannins are so smooth and the dominating notes of cedar wood on the nose and palate mixed up with some iodine reminded me of a Ducru Beaucaillou. Maybe …

Impressive. Marks of cassis, pencil shavings, tobacco. Soft tannins. 12.5%. I keep coming back to the glass. Wonderful mature Bordeaux that will certainly live on for many years.

The perfect Bordeaux for the BlaBlaBus. Dark fruit and woody spice, some green pepper. Tannins fine and precise, but strong. Plenty of time left in the drinking window.

Another lovely, mature Bordeaux from 1997. Dark blue fruit, leather, pencil, tobacco notes. Relaxed, soft, a true pleasure to drink.

Didn't enjoy this as much as the 1995 bottling. Three hours after opening it I felt like flushing whatever was left down the drain. 87-88
