Needs an hour to open. Then it's amazing.

Notes same as last with a tad more leather on the palate and a bit more complexity.

Nice California red blend. Dark fruit and limestone dust on the nose. Dark fruit, pepper, and cedar on the palate (you can taste the Cab Franc). Medium to long finish with fine grained tannins. Drinking nicely now.

An hour in carafe helps this wine a good deal. It is, um....delicate for a 2006 Napa red. Perhaps we carry a bit of a bias for heartier wines, but even with that said, we appreciate delicate wines if they are complex. This one is not. Thinking many might like this style, just not in the sweet spot for us. Wanted it to be bolder. Would we buy again? Not at this price point. Bonnie and Mary appreciated it more …

Neither Bonnie nor I cared for this bottle, especially at the $30 price point. Lacks depth, finish and elegance. Not even fruity enough to entertain. Perhaps the next two bottles will show better. Very low QPR for us. Would not buy again.

A very nice blend. Great floral nose. Smooth and agile. Can really taste the 10% Cab Franc. It's also 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec.
