Serving up earthy raspberries, mulling spices, lavender and minerals on the nose, this medium ruby, medium-bodied red quickly becomes unforgiving on the palate. With tart acidity and medium-weight, coarse tannins, it overpowers the fruit and all other gustatory pleaures. While the alcohol (13%) and oak are fairly well integrated, there is no escape from the harsh traits of this wine throughout the mid-palate and medium-length, acerbic finish. Pas fort... Prudhon fait tellement de bons blancs et dans les rouges je n'ai jamais été impressionné, mais celui-ci est terriblemement mince. Fruits, grande acidité, ce vin me procure aucun plaisir. 1,5/5
