Good upon opening, but 3 hours later and with a decant it just disappared.

Black and dense. Not a blockbuster, but very enjoyable. Good balance between fruit, smooth tannins and good structure. Pleasant wine.

Drank after opening an hour. Punched great at its weight vlasd. Fruit was there Tannins balanced, Meduium body and weak on the finish but great drink for $40 bordeaux with age. Would open this again for anybody who wants to experience left bank bordeaux

After a slightly off bottle a few months ago, this one is in great condition. Fragrant, with lovely cedar notes on the nose. There’s some soft plummy fruit on the palate, with mulberry, cedar and light tobacco. Bright acidity keeps it balanced and it finishes longer than expected. Not so deep or complex, but a very nice AOC Margaux.

Elegant with fine melted tannin, everything is on par, quite harmonious! Enjoy this for next 10-15 years.

Popped the cork and let sit in the bottle for a few hours after pouring a sample. Initially dark and dense in the nose, completely shut-down. After a few hours, dark berries, sandalwood, earthy notes started to show up. In the mouth, the wine is dense, tannic, and loads of fruit acid. So young. I poured a glass to have alongside the Dunn 1998 HM cab, not really expecting it to open up. It didn't. Tasted on 12/25- still not …

2 hour decant. Beautiful red color with solid core and some nice bricking around the edges, nose is big and spicy, leather, dark austere cassis rooted fruit, some gravel, tobacco, pencilshavings. Palette is very dry with medium+ weight and concentration of dark fruit, toasted dark coffee, some grippy tannins and refreshing finish. Its all in there, I really like the parts, i'm just not sure its coming together now. This is my second bottle, and I enjoyed the previous way …

Rubi, Deep Int M, plum blackcurrant forest floor graphite pencil shavings mint menthol iron game Int M+, bone dry,m+ acidity, soft M+ tannins, H alcohol ,m+ body Mid finish, balanced, a little too hot finish. Definitely ageworthy, will improve from this and has the structure to it. Very good quality, but much younger than I though. Keep this in the cellar for at least five more years. 4.2

Low key cassis and cedar, silky tannins. Long aftertaste. Feels younger and is relatively freed from tertiary aromas like barnyard and leather. Some earth but in no way disturbing. Good Margaux.

Medium-bodied, lighter, fresher, pleasant, earthy wine which is already displaying its red fruit, earth, spice and tobacco leaf character with ease. This is not a wine for long-term aging. I'd drink this before it reaches its 18th birthday.

Nice Bordeaux we purchased at wine store, Cave Citadelle, in Blaye, Bordeaux. Really cool South African wine store owner with a wonderful personality. Needed to decant and was better after being opened for an hour or so. As A California cab lover, it takes awhile for me to fully appreciate the French wines. Will wait several years to open additional vintages we purchased on our trip.

Reminds me of the 2010 chateau Kirwan I had last week. Great fruit and slightly sweet, which I assume is a vintage factor, as there are no signs of modern winemaking. Would love to try this again in 5-10 years. Drank this over 8 days or so, and this wine was, of course, best on the last day. Had the 1998 many years ago, and quite liked it. Some resemblance of the 1999 Palmer I had not too long ago.

Luftet en time i åpen flaske. Klassisk aroma med preg av lær, blyant, røyk, cassis,mahogny/møbelpolish. I munnen er den medium fyldig med tydelig syre/tannin. Smaken følger aroma. God vin som drikker greit nå dersom du liker din Bordeaux ung også(slik som meg). Fungerte meget godt til andebryst med poteter stekt i andefett, syren og tanninene rensket godt opp etter den fete maten. God vin og litt moderne Bdx som drikker best sammen med mat foreløpig. 90+ p.

The nose is open after a 3 hours decant with inviting notes of white chocolate, dark and red berries, cheries, smoke and fir resin. On the palate the tannins are slowing the fun a bit. Still, the aromas of cheries, forest floor, mushroom, eucalyptus, graphite, chocolate, coffee and pine needles are coming through. The Monbrison is on a good way but will need 4-5 more years for the tannins to further integrate. 92+

Open one day. Confirms initial assessment: nice wine and good value. Medium-dark raspberry with good viscosity. Extremely attractive nose with ripe fruit and anise; very aromatic and enticing. Rather more austere in the mouth, it nonetheless has earthy fruit, good structure, and a nice finish. Good concentration. More time will polish this up nicely, but approachable already with plenty of airing. 4-13-15-8: 90/100.

Fine dark raspberry color. Good, not great, legs. Fragrant, feminine nose with fine spice notes. Red fruits. Elegant, round mouthfeel, with soft yet full ripe fruit in the mouth, with a bit of earth adding to the harmonious flavors. Good grip and a very nice, flavory finish. Quite a bargain. 4-12-15-8: 89/100.

Complex red fruit-dominant aromas. Bright, sweet red and black fruit flavours. Builds in complexity on the palate. Reasonable length. Prominent tannins. Good. Seems to have improved over the last 2 years according to the TNs below, which is a good sign!

Very nice margeaux. Charming and characterful. Nose of forest berries, blueberries, cherries, chocolate, aceto and tobacco. Fine tannins, refreshing acidity, sweet creamy fruit and a stony minerality. In my opinion the average score of 86 does not not reflect the quality of this wine.

UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2010 (Brussels) : Ripe dark fruits as well as good oak in the bouquet. On the palate a classical wine with firm acidity and tannin as well as green bell peppers. This wine needs time; do not drink before 2020 and probably better to wait until 2023/2024. For now 87++; so upwards potential.
