Very good wine, even after 20+ years. Well rounded tannins, nice fruit.

The 2002 vintage in Napa is underrated, in my opinion. The wines took longer to evolve and they have a more Bordeaux-like quality. Not an in-your-face alcohol heavy fruit bomb. The Grace Family is a good example of the 2002 vintage. It reminds me of the some of the 1998 Bordeaux's in character and taste. This bottle is beginning to show its age. Not quite as bright as the bottle I drank in 2019. Drank alongside a 2009 Pichon LaLande …

Thoroughly enjoyable. Notes of licorice, menthol and cacao. Well balanced with great mouthfeel. At maturity in my view.

I have enjoyed the 2002 Napa vintage quite a lot, these past few years. Have consumed several bottles of 2002 Insignia, Bond, PM Les Pavots, Dominus, Caymus SS, Shafer HS, etc. So age worthy and the wines are supple. The Grace was outstanding, with a very long finish. I think it is now coming into its own. Have 4 more bottles I will be enjoying over the next 3-5 years.

This was very good. It was full bodied, rich, teeth staining, a tad sweet, and lots of depth. We happened to be sitting outside eating while we drank this and it was 87 degrees. I think this would have been much better in a cooler climate. We tend to drink less rich wines with as hot as it is here

Monthly Men's Wine Dinner (Harvest Vine, Seattle) : Amazingly youthful tannins for a wine grown 16 years ago in 2002, which is shaping up to be a legendary year for aging. Some notes of black tea, full body, a bit of bitterness on the finish. A quality wine. My #3 of 5 and the group's #2.

Inky dark fruit. Initial sweet ripeness on nose blew off after an hour of air. Silky texture with still-vibrant black fruit giving way to notes of smoke and licorice on long smooth finish. Memorable wine from beautifully etched 3L bottle.

Beautiful, complete, and complex. Decanted for an hour. Dark fruit with spice notes. I know this is expensive but it is a wonderful wine.

Beautiful. Clearly in its drinking window. Plenty of bottle life left

easily the most over priced wine in america. ok, maybe that's amuse bouche, but i think you get my drift. yes, i know all about the humanitarian aspects of dick grace. congratulations. really. however, why can't this wine actually be good? i will say it was better than i expected, but that's not exactly a compliment. stiff tannin, over extracted fruit, brutal oak. a marginal $30 napa cab.

Mattias' Send Off : Ruby color. Black currant nose. Tastes of blueberry, cherry, and earth. Well balanced with some elegance and depth on the finish . 13.9% alcohol.

blk cherry, coal, sweet blackberry middle note, finishes earthy. good but for that sweet mid-taste that distracts.

Big huge like I rememeber from last time. Tannins everywhere on the pallet. Too young to truely enjoy the wine. It is built for more bottle aging.
