{screwcap, 14.5%} Slightly developing and rich aromas of pepper and spice, rich raspberry fruit (not jammy) and soft oak. The palate is all classic McLaren Vale richness, with plenty of presence in the middle of the tongue, not too much heat, and a medium-full-bodied weight. It's a generous mouthful of wine, with soft tannins and unobtrusive acid; this sounds rather gloopy and structureless but there was a savoury aspect to the flavours, and the wine is quite dry, so that …
