Strongly reminiscent of those waxy yellow apples I used to eat as a kid but haven’t seen in 25 years. Golden delicious maybe? In any event very tasty and the apple flavor carries into a lengthy finish. Sensitive to temperature - slightly too warm and it’s flabby, too chilled and overly lean. Had with softshell crabs and was with a group of friends so no detailed notes but is a great value and worth seeking out as a cellar defender

It has a nice nose dominated by ripe lime, baked apples, honeyed. Palate is fresh but has a nice rondeur that balances the acidity and adds to the body.

Restrained nose, very dry, slightly delightful aeromatics, best with food. One of the reviews of the 2018 mentioned a preference for Chenin Blanc with a bit of residual sugar. Probably the same thought for me. Overall a decent bottle of very dry wine. Not especially generous but all the while hinting at something wonderful.
