PnP. Similar to last year's. Went well with steak. Nice nose. Lively tastes of red & darker fruits.

Last bottle consumed 14 months ago. This is the second of two. Did not make a note on the first..... This wine is in a really good spot right now. Spectacular black cherry cobbler on the nose and palate. Medium plus bodied wine. Roasted dates, a slight savory note, basil, even a bit of tobacco. Lots of fine grit sediment towards the finish. This wine was good to go right out of the bottle. Red fruit dominant, as are most …

Clear, deep garnet with slight rim browning. Chocolate, coffee grounds, black plum. Low acids, low tannins. Toasted oak. Medium balanced finish.

Big notes of vanilla and caramel on the nose. Blackberry, black currant and black cherry fruit with notes of sweet spices, tobacco and earth. Dark purple color. Full bodied and loaded with fruit. Plush and round with a touch of sweetness on the long finish.

Ok, but not great QPR. A decent $30 cali cab with balance and good weight that does a great job of masking it's 14.7% abv. However, there are better wines for less than $52.

Really in a good place right now. Decanted for about 1.5 hours. Great core of fruit with a long finish.

Really nice cab. Didn't write down detailed tasting notes, but great nose, good fruit and nice structure. Similar notes from March 2011, but not as high a rating. Nothing has changed about this, I simply think my palate has matured. Still a great Sonoma Cab that gives you the fruit, tannin and structure of a Napa Cab. Well done!

Drinking well with a two hour decant. Tannins were noticeable smoother than last bottle I had of this two years ago. Drank alongside the 2008 which definitely needs more time.

this wine is still too young. Also, please decant as the bottle had a great deal of heavy sediment. Very tasty, not very tannic, with delicious heavy fruit, chocolatrr overtones. Maybe a couple more years

Decanted about an hour. Floral, flavored coffee and chocolate on the nose. This is a very pleasant aroma that makes you want to drink up. On the palate I pick up just a touch of Bordeaux as it has a hint of earth. Going beyond that, nice tannins which give it a nice structure. I'm not going to try and describe the taste other than really good. This gives you the Napa big fruit, but in an awesome Sonoma Valley …

Only 7 barrels produced, Robert Young has done it again. Delicious balance of fruit and tannins. Started a bit harsh, but opened up nicely after 30 minutes.
