1997 Whitecliff Sauvignon Blanc, Hawkes Bay, Sacred Hill Winery, New Zealand, 12.5% A very, very pale straw indeed. Very dull, flat nose. Soft attack, but overall this has very little character and little flavour. A bit watery? OK. (10/8/98)
