Last bottle from a half case. Nose of lime, salted butter and some spicy wood; on the palate a nice weight but unlike 7 months ago it shows its minerally side today, with lovely citrussy 2008-freshness; good, savoury length. Good but drink up if you have any left.

Nose is light but has nice complexity: herbs, tart apple, salted butter, hint of lime; creamy, comes across as a bit soft and fully mature; good length, hint of vanilla, lemon.

Clean and Flinty with an interesting note of toffee. Not much length at the moment ... Hope it develops with more time.

Winner of the Savigny Les Beaune Trophy at the 2010 International Wine Challenge. Lovely hazelnut and honey nose with citrus, brioche and toasty oak. It's lovely and fresh on the palate. The good 2008's have a great citrus streak running through them. It's really tangy and vibrant with bright citrus allied to peachy stone fruits, and creamy oak. Still young but delicious now and over the next 5 years. Classy white burgundy. (FROM NOEL

White flowers and yellow fruit, herbs, no noticeable oak; playful and elegant, juicy, remarkable finesse, filigree bitters, good length, hint of nuttiness.

Tasting in the cellars at Domaine Seguin-Manuel (Beaune) : 15% new oak, bottled December 2009. Finesse, fresh apples, delicious.
