Domaine du Château de Meursault Bourgogne Clos du Château

I really liked this. Obviously white Burgundy. Lemon, sulphur, orchard fruit and wet stone nose. Dry textured flavours and finish. Did this note 3 weeks later.

Opulent nose , pineapple with sweet toasty notes, coconut. Lush on the palate too, roast coffee, peach and lemon, sweet fruit. Tastes almost like Californian Chardonnay. Full body, long with spicy oak. Might be a bit much for some but I like it.

Clear light yellow. Very fresh apple, white flowers, wet stone and lemon nose. Dry green apple and citrus flavours and a nice dry slightly rich finish. A very pretty and delicious wine. From a magnum enjoyed over 2 days.

A rich, textural, buttery Burg that is old fashioned in a good way. It has plenty of sappy orchard fruit flavours and excellent depth for its level. The finish is clean and fresh with plenty of chalky mineral action.

Excellent minerality and many layers of apple. Love the roundness of the mouthfeel and balance.

Bu en succ. C`est rond et assez riche, pommes compotés et amandes avec un peu de beurre, acidité moyenne et assez long. Un peu lourd et quelconque...à proche 37$, RQP douteux si on considère de beaux Mâcons à 10$ de moins qui en donne plus!

Château de Meursault Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 2, Visit 4) (Château de Meursault) : Tasted at the domaine. Rich baked apple with good depth, moderate length. Probably better in one year, but also probably best to enjoy young. Still a good value wine in this vintage.
