This was much sweeter than I thought. Would have been great with a fruit tart or similar fruity dessert, it really didn't go with a savory dinner.

was told this is "sweet". this is not sweet. its not dry, but its not sweet. You might feel a sweetlike sensation when it first hits the tastebuds but this is not sugar sweet in the mouth, just has some grape flavor, some acid, mild tannin. It can be drunk by itself but its not sweet. its not bad but not enough other flavor to interest me.

quick note. Another great vouvray for a great price. Sweet entry, with citrus and mulch on the nose and palate. Great as a simple sipper or with food.
