100% Aglianico from Salento. Fermented with pied de cuve followed by 30 days of maceration on the skins. Aged 2 years in steel, then 1,5 years in botti grande. Medium ruby color. Rather fruit forward on the nose with plum, blackberry and dark cherry. Some more savory notes of dry aged beef, dusty herbs, warm soil, lavender and violets.
