Eyes: purple, high viscosity Nose: BlackBerry, raspberry, slight oak, pepper Palate: blueberry, pepper, oak, caramel on finish Opens up and lots more fruit after 1-2 hours.

Still quite prominent tannins. Opened up a bit the second day, but still needs a few years in the cellar. Try again in 2017

bottle took a few days to open up (using vacu-vin) After opening there was a significant amount of heat that overwhelmed the fruit/tannins. Fortunately after a couple days the character of the wine came out. Disappointed overall in this bottle, hoping the others are better. Noted that the cork had a considerable amount of mold on it and came out way to easy which I'm sure suggests that the flavor at this point was heavily influenced by the excess amount …
