Quite lovely second wine of the evening following 2000 Bryant Family. Held its own very well. Short decant in same vessel as BF.

Fun rich wine.

Seemed to have some Grenache in it. A bit sweet. Easy drinking and juicy

My fav wine drunk in 2015. Super smooth. Husband described it as "red butter." Easy drinker doesn't need too much time to breathe.

Little disappointing as I was expecting a lot more from this wine. Perfectly fine and will note that it was tasted along five others wines that are hard to beat.

Inky purple with plum hues, opaque throughout showing high extraction techniques. Legs show medium staining and medium+ viscosity. Aromas are medium-plus after decant, which it needs. Aromas are loaded with roses, lavender, cardamom, white pepper, sandalwood and sarsaparilla on top of perfumed notes of plum, blueberry, strawberry coulis, fennel pollen and wild raspberry. The 2012 Sainte Fumée is a bigger, richer version of her previous counterparts. Always a fan favorite, this wine exhibits aromas of white pepper, roses and caramelized sugar.
