(Bottled 2014, 5.2% ABV) Appearance: Lovely deep copper colour. Nose: Crushed, ripe yellow and red apples, hints of dust, farmyard brett notes, fresh and dried white apricots. (Purchased July 2015, bottling code December 2014. 5.2% ABV) Deep gold colour (5/5). Nose: Lots of yellow apple fruit with hints of wood and smoke (5/10). Taste: Medium carbonation. Fruity, medium bodied. Has a slightly bitter tannic (might be perceived as metallic) edge to it which is not in complete harmony. Finishes with a slight touch of sweetness.
