Nicely acidic, and the dark fruit is decent if not noteworthy. There's a note of wet dog I could do without. Well-made, but doesn't clamor for return visits.

Day 2 - color: dark purple; nose: berry -- but very faint; taste: medium-length mouth feel, plum fruit taste, medium-length finish with notes of coca cola and black pepper, chalky tannins; overall: rustic and subdued (not bright) Old World flavor profile -- not my preferred style, OK QPR ($11/bottle at Bin 604 in Baltimore), ready to drink as of March 2018, probably would pair with a beef ragout

Off the Beaten Path Wines (San Diego Wine Co.) : N: Berries, SOME garrigue? P: LM, poss Med, body; Almost swtish frt NICELY offset by acidity. Fairly LONG, almost swtish finish with a tang. At this vendor's $7.99 [as good a price as I could find], this represents VERY good QPR for drinking now & into, if not through, '20! 12.5% BV
