A well made Merlot the deserves its respect. Vanilla laden in fresh dark red fruit. The wine is developing some herbaceous qualities, but nothing distinctive. I say drink....

Heavily oaked, plush red wine with a sexy, long dry finish. Fleshy and full bodied, with gobs of red and black raspberry, without being jammy or heavy. If it was oaked a bit less, I would have enjoyed more There is no doubt that new wine drinkers will love this way more, but I sure do appreciate the wine and the effort. Ready to drink now and over the next 5 years. EON

Wow. What a dense beautiful merlot. Deep ruby color. Intense rounded flavor with a forever aftertaste. Not as elegant as Petrus (I’ve only tasted a few) but a masterpiece. I plan to buy more from the vineyard
