This is a very good example of a french chablis / chardonnay that matches quite well with an American palate. This does not have the steely minerality of the grand cru chablis, it does have variatal character. Put this beside a half dozen fresh Duxbury oysters. If your palate leans toward American, you will enjoy this tefreshing change.
