Solid overall with apple, pear, spice, floral and grapefruit. Medium finish.

Notes of perfumed peach, candied lemon, green herbs on the nose. The palate is gently textured and powdery. The profile enters bright, grows through rich tree fruits and end with a slightly pithy candied lemon. The medium body is very satisfying. Delicious!

Loimer - Current releases at the office w/ Stephanie : All Estate fruit now (since 2017 when Fred purchased a friends vineyard in Gumpoldskirchen, next to Langenlois. Lots of ‘perm’ and mineral aromas. Mineral, pepper, arugula. Lots of character. 11.5% ABV

Very racy and green and fresh. Much more depth and character than what I remember from previous vintage. Above average in quality. AA in value if at $20.

From a 187. Appearance: Clear, medium lemon. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of lemon peel, apple, asparagus, and licorice. Palate: Dry, high acid, medium body, medium+ intensity, 12.5% abv with developing flavors of tart apple, pear, and marzipan with a medium finish. Intense and acidic at the moment, needs 1-2 years in bottle.

Really linear and dry. For my palate, could use a little more flesh on the bones. Wine made into water.

Tasting 42 in 2024 Becoming fond of Gruner Veltliner as I explore more producers. This expression was good, not great. Had nice aromas including light citrus and something a little vegetal that I could not ascertain. The nose wasn't as aromatic as I hoped, but it was pleasant. The taste is bright, nicely acidic where tone of citrus (for me closer to orange than lemon) and the finish was cool -- some kind of slight spiciness. I read arugula in …

Citrus zest, tropical notes, flinty minerality - perhaps a tiny bit reductive. Nice fresh acidity throughout the palate, lemon, lemon zest, and slight, but pleasant grapefruit bitterness on the finish.

Wonderful as always. Sharp and fresh, but also some fatness.
