Domaine Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée Vieilles Vignes

Very mature, brownish colour. Racy and complex nose. Flavours shifting after every whiff: faded flowers, sea shore, boathouse, tar, cola... On the palate, there is real elegance and lift, and the structure is still impressive with firm tannins. An amazing wine. Guessed it was a 20+ years Pinot in a blind tasting and got it right.
