Jolie-Laide Red Wine

Another great Jolie-Laide! Trousseau blend, lighter than the Mondeuse but still with a similar approach to dry, tart, tannic wine — cranberries and flowers. Great match for our tastes.

Quite nice. Beaujolais like so we enjoyed chilled on a hot day.

Sour cherry, wet stone, white pepper, birch beer notes. A lighter bodied red blend. Good stuff!

Majority Trousseau and Cabernet Pfeffer (formerly thought to be Trousseau) the balance Gamay and Valdiguie (formerly called "Napa Gamay'). 11.8 % alcohol. Luminous dark red hue. Quite beautiful color. Too generous to my tasting skill perhaps to say I could taste each grape component's contribution to the blend, but the flavors do have good definition. Certainly the Gamay fruit is evident, as is the tartness the Trousseau and the white pepper notes on the finish from the Pfeffer. Bright and …
