Weingut Schnaitmann Schwarzriesling ***

Nicht fabelhaft (not fabulous), but for me as good as a Schwarzriesling (pinot meunier) can be. A somewhat pungent bouquet with spices and black fruit, a sound and deep colour and a smooth taste with some of the dark elements from the bouquet. The aftertaste is firm but balanced; a lovely wine.

Stood above the others in a German redwine tasting; , classic, stylish nose, good body, pure taste and with a real aftertaste.
