Lovely midweight powerful Otago Pinot. Nothing extracted , over-oaked or overripe. Very lifted spicy red fruited nose. Quite a powerful palate but still only mid weight. Lovely length. Much better than a bottle 3 years ago. Really at its peak nose with ripe tannins now all integrated. Lovely

Pale ruby color. Forest berries on the nose. Medium body. Acidic attack, medium+ tannins on the mid palate and long finish. Lacking complexity and 'oomph', at times even feels a bit sour. Had with prime reb, chantarelle, steamed spring onions and sauce. Unsurprisingly not the best combo either. A bit disappointed in this wine i imported myself.
