Great QPR

Blueberry, blackberry, new leather, smoke, earth, a little plum and raspberry, red cherry, herbs and brambles on the nose. Blackberry, cassis, plum, licorice, earth, graphite, tart cherry, almost a touch of blood, and light barrel notes on the palate. Juicy acidity, slightly chewy tannins, lovely lingering finish. This manages to be fruity without sweetness. Right now the nose is less assertive than the palate. Really nice. Should be even better in a year or so, though it drinks well now.
