Tasted non blind at home. Bottle was a gift. Weak, non descript nose. On the palate it has cherries and red berries and some oak. Consistent, medium length finish with a hint of green pepper at the end. Probably a crowd pleaser in the mass market.

- Brick color - Young blueberry aroma with hints of grass and young oak. I get a bit of campfire as well. Tannic with some initial acidity. Dark fruit taste with good oakiness. Medium-thick mouthfeel.

Good wine, bold and big. It may be too bold in a way. Lots of berries but alcohol co tent is a bit too high. Tannic get soften after 90 minutes of decanting. Recommended if you want simple bold wine.

Great QPR Wine. Strong fruitforward flavors, open to pop and pour, but benefits from a 1-2 hr decant. Monosyllabic flavors with strong fruit, but good structure and body for the price. Great daily drinker.

Appearance and Color: clear, dark garnet; Nose: really big when first opened (bit of a fruit bomb) but a bit more refined after decant - cranberry, cassis and a touch of cedar. On palate, sweet dried cranberry, a hint of black cherry, medium length finish with a bit of acid on the end. Nice wine for the price...stands up to steak and chocolate well.

Quite the complex nose for a wine of this price point- cassis, cranberry, chocolate, a bit of a vegetal note, and a touch of heat at the end. Cassis, blackberry and chocolate on the initial attack followed by a full midpalate, though the finish is a bit short and acidic. All in all one of the better supermarket wines at this price.
