Nicely balanced nose of fruit, leather, and spice. The palate is similar. This is a well-made wine that shows what Michigan is capable of. Delicious.

The Shiraz dominates the nose, with a nice toasted oak note. The Cabernet fruit is prominent on the palate, showing black cherry, ripe blueberry and cedar. Finishes with nice acidity and well-rounded tannins. Really nice, well made wine. Drink now for the great fruit or hold for 3-5 years and see how it evolves.
