Upon opening, the wine was unbalanced at first. There was maybe a bit of acidity at the front of the tongue, but the most prominent tastes were bell pepper and tomato at mid palate. Very little tannin. After being open for two days, the wine really rounded into form as a nice, fruit forward Cabernet. Dark fruit at mid palate, with maybe a bit of lighter fruit up front.
