No specific notes. The first of 2 bottles was corked. Returned to the winery and unfortunately they could not replace this vintage. They provided us with a '12 which was nowhere near as delicious as this last bottle of '14 was. If you have it, drink it. I don't think it will get much better and it really is drinking well right now.

Even at 8 years of age this Pinot needs some air to open it up. Once it breathes at bit this is a great Pinot. Smooth on the palate, with well-integrated tannins and a medium-long finish. Could easily go another 5 years.

This is drinking well now. It is light and delicate and has a great floral aroma. We had it with goats cheese and onion dip with bread and chips. It matched that very well. Really enjoyed the wine.

Additional 2 years of bottle time has really made a difference. Loads, I mean loads of cherry on the nose that transfers very nicely to the front and back end of the tasting experience. Very good example and reminder to myself to be patient and allow enough time in the bottle to do its thing. Hitting its stride/drinking window for sure.

Nice moderate intensity aromas with a bit of pinot funk, but that didn't really carry through to the taste. It was more fruit driven, but dark and more extracted fruits -- dried blackberry, dried cherry, etc. Over all it was a bit too 'fruit juicy' to me. Not my style. No wonder it's on sale everywhere (retail, LastBottle, etc.).

Oregon quality, great price, had to try 1 of 2 and will save other bottle for 2023. Fruity and upfront compared to the Pinot normally prefer, but hardly so and not near over the top, in fact well done for the style it is portraying. From Wadensvil and Pommard clones (back-label knowledge), only worrisome leather on the nose, no matter how hard I try to imagine or pinpoint the fruit. Just an initial splash of leather on the palate, then ample pomegranate and dark cherry fruit. Can't recall a greater disjointedness between bouquet and palate, making this wine difficult to fully embrace tonight.

I discovered this wine because Owen Roe was sourcing some grapes from them about 15 years ago. Researched it and found they made their own wine and the love affair started. Nice ripe style Pinot without overdoing it. Aromas of red cherry, blueberry, sage, and smoke. Full bodied with rounded tannins. A meatiness to it. Very nice for the 19 bucks I paid.

Some toasted oak and vanilla to go along with ample, ripe fruit that mark this as a modern style. Hard to peg this as Pinot, much less as having any OR character. Kind of a boring, formula wine that is manufactured for the general public's palate. Still way better than Meiomi, though. The 2013 version of this wine was made in a much different style, as it was acidic and somewhat lacking in fruit, with much less oak influence.

Great little Pinot for the price. Blind, I would have guessed Sonoma county. It's a bit bigger than your typical Willamette Pinot. More my style but by no means over there top or even close. Plenty of fruit and great acidity to keep everything balanced. Not as many savory characteristics but those might develop in time.

Definitely fuller and heavier than the more feminine 2013 version of this wine. This had a little toasty oak note that I didn't think fit it very well, but this was still very good, especially at the $18 that I paid for it.

Dried red and blue fruits on the nose. This took an hour to open up, but once it did, some nice mixed berry fruit showed itself. Medium bodied. Finished with spicy and slightly drying tannins. This wine is a nice mix of old and new world Pinot. 13.3%abv

Detailed and feminine aromas show raspberry, cherry, strawberry and pomegranate that come with highlights of rose, Himalayan salt block, blood orange and an overall sence of freshness. Very fruit forward. Popped and poured and got a burst of fruit right from the start. Didn't take any time to open up. Nice cherry and cola notes. Some acid for balance. Fades pretty quickly on the finish.

Just ok upon opening but much better as it opened up. If you are holding it, definitely time to drink up. Popped the cork and aerated the juice, letting it stand in the glass then for 30 minutes on first pour to 90 minutes on the second pour.
