Excellent. 13% abv. Lovely herbal notes to accompany the cassis fruit flavors. In a good spot.

A marked improvement from a year ago. It has a decent amount of sediment. Some of the hard edges have softened allowing the spice, red fruit and floral flavors to come through. Plenty here to last several more years in the cellar.

Big earth and herb nose on day one. Palate was light red fruits, herbs, earth and some drying tannin. Day 2 was good and much more mellow. Softer nose and palate. Wait a yr or 2 for next bottle

Blind Cabernet Franc Tasting : Herb, earth, blackberry and plenty of spice, with some violet and juicy red fruits. Palate is quite full, there is a whack of tannin through the middle, though it fits in as all the other elements are also quite big, so it manages to find balance. Good length to it.

Drank over three nights - consistent with prior experiences. Will plan to hold remaining bottles to see how they evolve over the next few years.

Drank over three nights - second bottle of this wine. Much more structured than a typical Loire cab franc. The fruit is a bit more forward with almost a cranberry note present. I think that these will age beautifully and we will be putting the other bottles down to cellar for 5 years. Wine really held up well over 3 nights - with best showing on second night.

Wow this was really delicious. 1st red wine after a tasting flight of grower champagnes and it really did impress. Dark ruby color in the glass. Nose of dark fruit and earth. Really well balanced tension between the acid, fruit and tannin with a nice long finish. Definitely going back to buy more of this one!
