Grans-Fassian, Trittenheimer Apotheke Riesling Spatlese Goldkapsel, Mosel

It's not a baby any longer. Fully mature but finely balanced with fantastic bracing acidity supporting a fragrant, medium sweet and delightful wine. Whiffs of petrol and citrus, good length and ample fruit to act as a stand-alone dessert, pair with cheeses, fruit or lightly sweet desserts.

I killed a baby! But one with great potential to be the really extraordinary in the next 3-5 years or even more. This Spätlese Goldkapsel is made of a special Riesling clone planted in the heart of the Trittenheimer Apotheke. Great lush mouthfeel, good amount of sweetness (only 7,5% alc) and beautifull sweet peaches, applecompote and pear.
