Served at around 50F. Nice color in the glass, with expressive nose of komquats, oak. Nice acidity, not very mineral, good body with vibrancy and depth - notes of licorice, lemon peel, pineapple, komquats - not tropical like a new World Sauvignon Blanc but quite bright and mouthwatering. Ending is medium, with notes of vanilla, herbs, and and more fruit. Very good wine - my only bottle unfortunately, but hopefully not my last.

Unusual single varietal (almost extinct) Greek white. Straw yellow color. Abundant lemon and mineral aromas and flavors. Hints of pear and white flowers. Mouth watering acidity and a long and creamy finish. (Some light oak aging). Very pleasant.

Suprising white from nothern Greece. Good intensity.. Jasmine, flowers, tropical fruit notes. Nothing too defined but really nice nonetheless. Not an easy drinker. I would like to pair this with highly flavored food, sushi.

(16,5/20) Outstanding wine! Malagousia was almost extinct as a variety, but has found a revival. Well capable of keeping its acidity in hot climates, and this wine shows that too. Fresh, vibrant, complex, quite floral and peppery. Beautiful! This wine was for a small part fermented and aged on the lees in French oak barrels. Medium+ intense aromas of apricot, lemon, tangerine, lime, mango, white grapefruit, green apple, blossom, jasmin, green tea, almond, white pepper, wet stone. 13,5% ABV - …

The wine over-delivered. I've not had a malagousia wine in memory, but i'll be looking for it. Pale yellow, floral, apple and pear. Skim milk texture and zippy acidity in the finish. It hit all the sweet spots for me.

Light gold. Highly fragrant nose of apricot, orchid, ripe rock melon - could be a gewurz or viognier. Palate is rich and oily but then moves on to a distinctly dry herbaceous patch - no bitterness on the chalky finish. A nice wine - I’d have it with a bowl of prawns.

Another bottle another joyful experience with this wine that for us is synonymous to the summer. Another consistent showing much like a week or so ago, floral , aromatic yet with solid structure and acidity was that gives the wine an elegance but also a serious side. Will of typicity too and this is probably the best Malagousia out there and rightly so as it’s made by the man who brought it back from the brink. 90 but so much …

This wine never stops to amaze me; it is fantastic, love it! Pale yellow, very aromatic with flowers (almost like a top viognier) and yellow fruit, bright and fresh, some peach and melon. This is my 3rd vintage and I could not recommend this wine more. Try it!

Bottled under screwcap. Very expressive and floral on the nose, white nectarines and apricots, nice minerality. Slightly oily texture, stony, minerals interwoven with apricot. Everything all seems to be in the right place at the moment, impressive wine from a great winemaker.

Quel beau vin blanc Grecque! Excellent rapport Q/P!!

Excellent wine! Perfumed nose with notes of neroli, jasmin, ripe peach and apricot, burnt sugar and white pepper. Similar to a good Condrieu. Plush mouthfeel with bitter flavor of herbs and plants like pelargonium which balance sweet and ripe fruits marvelously. Long finish. A world class wine.

The Charm of Maturity - Greek Aged Whites Presented by the Wine Commanders (Paradiso Restaurant, Athens, Greece) : This wine is on par with a high end Condrieu, despite being made from a different variety. Very viognier-like nose of apricot and peach alongside jasmine and grapey scents. Noticeable but nicely integrated oak. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with density and rich/sweet fruit, perfectly balanced by acidity and very good length. Great white combining power and complexity. Excellent …

Tasted at Oenorama Wine Fair, Athens, Greece. This note is about the Greek market edition, wich is oaked. Dark gold. Sweet nose of ripe tropical fruits like mango, green tea, floral scens and hints of honeysuckle. Almost full-bodied, creamy, with rich fruit, moderate acidity and a long aftertaste. Reminiscent of a Rhone valley white. Surprisingly evolved given the age, but quite interesting.

Tasted May 10, 2007 (12.5% vol) Pale golden colour; floral and sharp/crisp lemon notes on the nose; nice combination of lemon and gooseberries(?) on the palate; honeysuckle on the finish. It is acidic and yet has a round fullness that reminds me of a Chardonnay (Macon). (5 days later this wine was still alive and interesting: floral/mineral nose; round body with minerals and a fatty fullness)
