Tasted alongside the opulent Atlas Peak, this is much more masculine and tannic, solid dark fruit, blackberry, currants, but needs time to integrate the tannins, may not have enough fruit to make it that long

This deep purple-black wine enchants with aromas of cranberry, raspberry, pomegranate and sweet tobacco. The palate exhibits flavors of cassis and strawberries, along with molasses and a mineral character. Smooth tannins mark the long finish. Overall a solid wine that is ready to drink now and will keep for a few more years

This bottle still can age a few more years. The tannins are still present and still a bit sharp when first opened. 1 hour after opening, this bottle opens up a lot. The dark fruit is forward, followed by plum and cherry in the middle palate. It has a bit of a acidic note in the finish. Great food wine. The wine looks garnet colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), plum …

Popped and poured. Medium plus garnet color with aromas of cherry and chocolate. Flavors of casis, cherry, and chocolate on the finish. Smooth and easy to drink.

Dark purple color. Black currant, cassis and milk chocolate on the nose with some vanilla from the oak. More of the same on the palate along with a really nice toasted, charred oak note which threw off some sweet spice and vanilla notes. Balanced tannin and acid and just really well put together. Great cabernet.
