Funky. Really funky. Very nice orange tint. Getting a lot of petrol aromas and flavors, oily mouthfeel. Not something I like, but going to leave it open a few days and taste again before tossing.

Tastes better than before, oak is integrating nicely, though this wine is still much better without. Hints of spice with vanilla notes, smooth and buttery.

Torn on this version; probably needs more time to settle in. Compared to unoaked version, very musty with lots of clove aromas and on the tongue.
