This was a nice village wine showing appropriate developed aromas and flavors. Upon opening, it was not good at all - thin, off palate and not giving away much on the nose. I was worried that the ripeness of the vintage meant this wine did not age well, or wasn't very good in the first place. However, after about an hour, it really started to bloom. Lovely mature village chambolle. Nose fragrant, cherry and raspberry, sweet, some earthy tones. Taste soft red fruit, nice spicy tones. Low acidity. Palate showes limited persistence and limited length in finish.
