Drinking our first 2007's in a mini-horizontal: right bank, left bank. Decanted 2 hours and still warming from the cellar. Nose of bramble jam, gravel, pen ink, black pepper and chocolate. Dry and dark with cassis, blackberry, minty dark chocolate, and leather. A bit bitter and medicinal with a thin streak late-palate but unique and interesting enough to impress.

Dark black fruit, chocolate, minerals on the nose. Blackberry, chocolate and spice. A rich, smooth red wine. Good solid fruit with minimal oak influence.
