St Hallett Vintage Port "Rothschild Perth Cup"

Nose initially shows notes of stewed plums and prunes, but these give way to wet hay, chocolate liqueur and raspberry. Palate is light-bodied, sugary and alcoholic, with a relatively simple flavour of sweet red fruits, vanilla essence and chocolate. The sugar and alcohol are not well integrated and protrude uncomfortably.
