Primary flavor is grapefruit and I mean intense grapefruit. Not sure if this is typical of Austrian wines but it was a bit hard to put down. However the wine fell off into a better balance after a day.

Steely, flinty and energetic. Dry and fresh. Apple on the front palate, lime on the back palate. I'd happily buy again.

Bone dry with an almost chalky mouth feel. Excellent acidity that make the wine lively but with little secondary flavors present right now. A very good but simple Riesling.

This wine might be a bit more "aggressive" than I would expect a Riesling to be. Made in a dryer fashion, it has a flash of petrol and a chalky/mineraly finish that's amazing, reminiscent of a well-done French SB. Meanwhile with the same subtle reminders of a German Riesling. Happy to have another bottle around - will test it out after some more time in the bottle!
