Is this a $60 (retail) bottle of wine? Maybe. At $42 (30% discount) it is VERY good. 2016 was a good year for Merlot in Napa Valley, CA. (Duckhorn Merlot (not 3 Palms!) is my Standard for Merlots - how they should taste and at a reasonable price. This may be better - but I believe it may be vintage dependent...)
