Fraying at the edges but with enough nutty character to pair nicely with a sticky lemon chicken dish. Plenty of toasted coconuts. Oily and full with the alcohol showing a little more than one would prefer. Still, a lovely little wine for the price and appellation.

Crumbly cork as had last bottle IIRC. Rich, nutty showing complex, oxidative flavours. Built in quite a feminine style, flavours based around curdy citrus fruit. Oak seems to be more settled and integrated now. Acid gentle but sufficient. Lovely with fish pie.

Beautiful light gold colour. The wine has a complex nose showing lime, orange zest, white flowers and a hint of oak. The palate is rich, soft and full with medium acidity; well-structured with a concentrated, long finish. A lovely, mature wine which paired perfectly with foie gras and hazelnut salad.
