Boy, my last tasting note hit this bottle right on the spot. A solid wine that is drinking quite nicely right now. Should live well for another three or four years

This label drinks more full and elegant than the "Violetta" label. Distinctly Sangiovese, it is smooth on the mouth and has a flowery nature. Rather dry on the end, the finish fits nicely with the light, spicy fruit in the front and middle.

Still an excellent QPR. Easy drinking, great weeknight sangiovese. No regrets here.

Nice aroma of fresh herbs and spice. Well balanced, good structure, plenty of tannins and a hint of oak. Very impressive, a bottle I will confidently bring to a friend house for dinner. Second day, wow, even better, very dark red, full body and a awesome finish. One of the best wine I have tasted this year. This is proof that great wine don't have to cost a fortune. I will increase my rating from 93 to 95.

Light, inoffensive, but food seems to draw something more out of it. Great weeknight sipper!

Pretty nice Chianti with a bit of tannic acidity and dark cherries. Was hoping that tannins would have resolved a little more by now. Couldn't expect much more for $10 bottle and went well with some Salisbury Gravy Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes. Have one more probably hold a bit.

Quite simple with the Sangio and Merlot showing but not a lot going on. Even though only $26 for a mag this falls a bit short but is drinkable. Would not buy again. Meh.

Was looking for a nice Italian around $10 for everyday enjoyment. This is on the lighter side, but drinks wonderfully right now. To me, this easily beats most of the sub-$20 Italian bottles I've had over the past years.

Nice value blend. Classic sangiovese nose of mushrooms and cherries but the palate is a little fuller and plummier. Definitely better on night two. 90

Unmistakably Sangiovese. Nose is mostly dark cherry, clove, and cinnamon. Palate is acidic and moderately tannic, but theres a sour/acidic flavor profile on the palate that I find a bit off putting that I sometimes find in cheaper Sangiovese. It did improve with air. Cant complain for the price paid, but for JS to give this 92 points is just nuts.

In a magnum. Smooth and easy drinking, with just enough complexity to keep it interesting. A very nice Tuscan blend.
