Cider from Champagne is the new thing, and these 5 growers banding together to make one is something I just had to try... Not able to give this a rating, as I haven't had too many ciders to be able to reference this. As with the one from Romain Henin (Korrigans Cidre) it's a very dry and tart style, and there's quite some oxidation as well as natural kind of funk to it. This is not pithy and bitter like …

Totally in love with this cider made by 5 top notch Champagne growers. I have put it to a blind tasting for sommeliers friends and as I expected, they got fooled and considered it as wine. Very vinous nose, dry on the palate, juicy and fresh. Very very good and tasty with clean dry finish. Great. Can't wait to taste the pear version, which should be out soon.
