Sesti Brunello Vertical 1995 – 2005, with Greg Sherwood MW (Handford Wines, London) : Good wine for a 2002. Fragrant wine, complex on the nose. Graceful and balanced, subtle but also light and a bit thin on the finish. Drinks nicely at the moment but not one to age. Drink now. 90-91

Given the vintage, this was very good. Certainly forward, tobacco, cherry, chalk. Settled tannins on the palate, marinated cherries, cocoa powder, sweet mid-length finish.
