Domaine le Petit Malo Vin de Pays d'Oc Les Copains

Blind tasted and guessed a southern French Viognier. Oak, banana and pear aromas. Has some RS but also surprising acidity for a Viognier. Oily texture no doubt from the oak aging with a dash of alcohol (13.5%) yet also mineral and with a dry finish which is perhaps a tad short. The rich fruit on the palate tends towards pineapple confit. A great effort and better than most Condrieus I have had!
