Nice and balanced. Definitely agree that this does not have many of the characteristics of a Pinot, but delicious none the less..

Full-throttle Pinot. Probably the darkest color I've ever come across with Pinot Noir. Big nose with pronounced aromas of dark cherry, blackberry jam, rhubarb, oak, baking spice, meat, black pepper and rose petals. Medium(+) bodied, medium acidity and almost no tannins to speak of. Sweet-ish red fruit, oak and spice coming through on the palate. This is all about muscles and high extraction. The finish lingers for a good while with some warmth from alcohol on the very end. Doubtless …

Decanted, full bodied Pino, dark fruit, heavy in the middle, almost out of balance, leaning towards a Syrah. But that's why I bought this one..

The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. It tastes like blackberry. The body is medium. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity. *****It really brought out the flavor of the lamb in the back of my mouth.

2nd bottle out of 12 that was flawed. Seemed like it had slight carbonation. Drink up if you have any bottles!

Dark garnet color, darker cherry, raspberries, plum, Full bodied, Palate is fleshy. Sea Smoke Style of Pinot. It's an impressive wine...there may be some syrah in there, touch of heat on the finish.

Not very complex. Red plums, sweet cherries, soft tannins. To sweet for my taste and a rather short finish.

Good fruit and balance. Nothing too complicated but this is a crowd pleaser and even has enough complexity for Pinot aficionados. Picked up at a Safeway / Vons 30% off sale. At $23, there's not too many better values out there. After drinking a bottle, I went back and picked up a case.

Second bottle, confirms my original score. Excellent value for a Sta. Rita Hills Pinot. Cherry cola, fruit forward, good heat and med+ finish. Complexity is there. This is one of my favorite ~$25 Pinots out there.

PNP, A full throttled Pino, almost Syrah like, but it is a drinker. The finish is a bit short, other than that jump on it.

Really liked this Pinot. Would give the most interesting man in the world competition. But seriously nice long finish, delicious cherry cola taste. Nose wasn't great, but taste wins out. Screw cap if that matters to you. Outstanding QPR. Will definitely seek out again.

Medium garnet-red, big aromas of red fruit and spice that carry to palate with voluptuous, rich fruit flavors of wild strawberry, red cherry and cinnamon. Easy-drinking, no discernable tannins, a touch of acidity and a medium+ finish. Great value.
