This was much better than the previous bottles. There was ample dark bramble fruit and a little spice to this one. It was enjoyable with and without food.

This was a little better than the last bottle, but for the life of me I can't figure out where the 90+ ratings are coming from. I'm going to sit on my last bottle with the hope that I happened to drink my other two bottles when the wine was in its 'dumb phase' which can happen ... we'll see.

Seems I'm different here, but I'm not buying the high ratings on this wine. I'm a Dry Creek Zin fan and this just doesn't deliver that spicy jammy zin ... it's much toooooooooo reserved. If this were in a blind taste, I certainly wouldn't say it's a zin ... more a watered down merlot.
